Kim Sharratt completed his fine art degree at Loughborough University and then moved to his own studio in Wirksworth. His love of walking in the countryside first inspired him to paint landscapes, but motivated by his love of horses, he has spent a lot of time at Appleby horse fair and Cork horse fair in Ireland. Studying the natural movement and character of the horse has enabled him to produce a selection of captivating and unique originals in oil on canvas.
