Ben Goymour (born in 1985) spent 20 years in the army serving in 29 Commando regiment as a bombardier, he did many tours in America, Norway, and Afghanistan as a section commander. On leaving the army in 2017, Ben became obsessed with painting, getting up at 4am some mornings to start.
His inspiration comes from his passion for nature and adventure, he spends hours studying how the light falls on the landscape to create a sense of mood and a “you just had to be there ” feeling in all his work. We’re delighted to welcome him to our team here at Duffield Art Gallery.
