James Preston was born in Birmingham, he moved to Duffield aged 16, where he studied History of Art at Derby Art college. He lives in Holbrook, and is constantly inspired by the beauty and the light of the surrounding countryside. He produces work in oils in an impressionist style of the local area, plus the many places he travels to.
His work is recognised internationally, and sells as far away as the Triumph Gallery in Tokyo, Zurich, Milan and Ibiza, also through De Montfort Fine Art.
All paintings are oil on canvas, and the price includes the frame, but any frame can be changed to a customers choice
