        • Peter BainbridgePeter divides his time between landscape gardening, painting and his passion for horse racing . His work is clearly inspired by the calm serenity of the garden and the visiting wildlife and the buzz and Adrenalin of a race meeting. His attention to detail can only be achieved by a true racing enthusiast . If you love horses, you’ll love these, we certainly do!
        • Ben GoymourBen Goymour (born in 1985) spent 20 years in the army serving in 29 Commando regiment as a bombardier,  he did many tours in America,  Norway, and Afghanistan as a section commander. On leaving the army in 2017, Ben became obsessed with painting,  getting up at 4am some mornings to start. His inspiration comes from his passion for nature and adventure,  he spends hours studying how the light falls on the landscape to create a sense of mood and a “you just had to be there ” feeling in all his work. We’re delighted to welcome him to our team here at Duffield Art Gallery.
        • Thomas PetitThomas Petit is a range of hand blown glass made and created solely by Thomas himself since 1992, working in London, New Zealand and now here in Derbyshire. His designs are influenced by his own photography, surrounding nature, and everyday sights and objects, “sometimes it is the happy accidents that create the best pieces”. Each unique piece depicts the coastal beach and seascapes with alternative skies shaped by the wind. No two pieces are the same. Collection only, local delivery by arrangement, contact the gallery or email me at jill@duffieldartgallery.co.uk
        • Kieran WhiteAfter 2 years in Brighton and a series of inspired paintings of the area, Kieran has now moved back home to Belper to focus on more local landscapes, captured in his style balanced delicately between impressionism and photo realism. We’re delighted to welcome Kieran to our team and look forward to seeing his new work.
        • April YoungCelebrated artist April Young creates expressive, figurative sculptures in a variety of materials from clay to foundry bronze. Her work is inspired by movement, the natural world, and her childhood spent in Africa. She is probably best known for her acclaimed carousel horses that have sold all over the world. Each piece is sculpted in bonded bronze , limited edition, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, and comes in a protective box.
        • Stephen Hawkins
        • James BreretonJames Brereton was born in Derby in 1954, and trained at the Joseph Wright Art School, turning professional in 1979. He is one of the country’s leading marine artists, and is inspired by Montague Dawson and Thomas Somerscales. His work is recorded and illustrated in Archibalds Dictionary of Sea Painters of Europe and America, and he regularly exhibits at the Royal Society of Marine Artists. His pictures are in private collections all over the world, and sell at Sotheby’s, Christie’s and Bonham’s in both London and New York. • Nick WalkerManchester born Nick Walker is the newest artist to come on board, he divides his time between here and his second home in Brittany. He paints quickly and boldly in strong vibrant oils to capture the warmth and light. Possibly the happiest and sunniest pictures you’ll ever see.
        • Eddie HallamEddie Hallam is an active and passionate wildlife conservationist. His bronze sculptures are in high demand both nationally and internationally.  We at Duffield gallery feel very privileged to be 1 of only 4 galleries  in the UK to have Eddie’s  work permanently on display. Each bronze sculpture can take up to six weeks to sculpt, then it is moulded and cast in bronze, using the centuries old technique of “lost wax” casting each bronze is then “patinised” by Eddie to give its individual colour and finish. A patina can never be repeated, so even though the bronzes come in limited edition numbers, every single sculpture is unique.

All paintings are oil on canvas, and the price includes the frame, but any frame can be changed to customers choice
        • DiegoI  was first introduced to Diego on the sunny island of Ibiza, he is a shy “banksy” type of character,  but  I  was  immediately drawn to the bold bright energetic vibrancy of his paintings. His work is in private collections all over the island. We persuaded him to spend some time with us in the UK last summer and he was immediately entranced by the local Derbyshire countryside. He wishes to remain private and elusive,  he signs his work simply “Diego”,  always in red.
